Wonderful, majestic, and down right beautiful... Be prepared to spend the whole day taking this place in.

Great location to go hiking and near some of the best spot to see the sunrise. Great swimming pool to cool off in the afternoon

It was just enough for what we needed. They do have token showers and their the token machine was down... so we showered from buckets. The bathrooms were fairly clean. Really this campground is about the location - very close to the Grand Canyon and sight points. We only stayed one night.

If you want to camp in the park, you need to make reservations 6 days in advance... Otherwise there was plenty of camping outside the park.

This place is no more than an unkept gravel pit, that is unkept. If you are travelling in an RV to see the Grand Canyon and can't get into the RV park at the Canyon there are recommended off road sites to stay. This would be preferable over this site. The sign at the office says it all in big letters.. A series of NO's. no refunds, no discounts, no use of generators and really should say No staying here, move on. I will add that the check in staff were very friendly, unfortunately they can't compensate for this gravel parking lot.

Feel sad about writing this as it is the last, and worst place we have stayed in our three month camping trip across the USA. For tents this really isn’t any good. The dust is unbelievable (the don’t try to grow anything to counteract it), very very uneven and rude staff. When we asked if we could swap sites to one of the many free ones which were slightly more level it was just “No”, not even a “sorry”. Unfriendly signs in the bathroom. Worst night’s sleep on the bumpy ground, and they have the cheek to charge $29, which is way over the national park site (which was unfortunately full). Plus money for the showers! Needless to say we were out of there as early as possible.
