Very crowded year-round, but worth a stop. We have been in winter (spectacular but cold and walkways can be icy) and summer (spectacular, but hot in the daytime) and always full of tourists. We take the free buses to further viewpoints and make our first stop the Visitor's Center to see the movie if we are with friends new to the Canyon. Admission is very expensive unless you have the $10 lifetime National Park Sr. Pass, which gets the whole carload in free (we are on our 4th lifetime pass as we never keep them in the car we happen to be driving in),
Not that spectacular as everybody thinks. It's a very big canyon, that's it. But park is very nice, clean and a good place for walking. Really take a walk, don't drive only bus. It's worth it.

It's the Grand Canyon.... it's a must see at least once in your life!!! It doesn't feel real, it feels like you're looking at something photoshopped because you can't believe something so beautiful and amazing actually exists and you're actually there looking at it with your own eyes. Walk down along the trail that goes along the side to get away from the crowds. Watch out for local wildlife! And seriously, please don't litter!!!
What can you really say about the Grand Canyon? It's really Grand. LOL. Wonderful place to visit especially in the off-season bring your national park pass if you have it
