First time I saw the Grand Canyon was at this view point. So it will be one of my favorite for sure. Beautiful view.
As expected the southern rim was very beautiful. If i was going to see the Grand Canyon for the first time I would start with the southern rim.
This Vista has great reviews to the west, north, and east. It's a short walk from the parking lot in the visitor centers. It's not my favorite view in the canyon but it's certainly an easy one to access and is quite beautiful. I'm not sure why someone said this is not suggested for Sunset. Maybe they came at the wrong time of year or when the cloud cover was just too much. I was here less than 5 days ago and the view was quite stunning at sunset.
Our family was expecting small city generosity and foods to go along with it. And what a disappointment. It was big mistake not to check the review. It was hungry tourists' trap and final blow to get a bill. Do not go.
