Great hike. Refer to my review of the bright angel trailhead.
Googled everything to see how long it would take and I even went to the Ranger Station. The Ranger refused to even ball park how long it would take to go from rim to point and back up to rim.
It's a long hike but worth it! Amazing view overlooking the river. Take a moment to rest and take in the beautiful surroundings. Incredible. Photos just do do it justice.
If you go to Indian garden please... make it to this point !! It's totally worth it.. impressive views!
Visited near the end of March. 34 degrees at the Rim and 75 degrees a plateau point.
Could not imagine doing this hike in July.
If others are curious it took us three hours to hike down to the point with little to zero breaks. Then it took us 4.5 hours to hike back up including one 30 minute break at Indian gardens and many "catch your breath" breaks on the way up. So we did it in 7.5 hours.
At the end of that long way down , you can see this majesty , if you get chance to reach this point will know that is worth it all the hiking;). "BRING LOTS OF WATER AND SOME GRANOLA BARS WILL BE REALLY HELPFUL " ✌
