This is one of the most beautiful trails I’ve ever been in, in my life. You will be amazed by how big the Grand Canyon is and how colorful and inspiring it is. There are a lot of tourists in the multiple time I was here I was never alone, which might be slightly minus for people who like nature without interference. I highly recommend visiting around sunset and sitting and enjoying the sunset as it leaves the canyon. The trail is very easy and accessible and you can take a shuttle that takes you through some important stops if you don’t want to walk.
Doing the actual trails into the canyon is a different story.
You can hike the whole thing or take the free shuttle to a lot of the good points.
It's an amazing trip. If you have time and money you have to come and see the Grand Canyon.
May 2017, We fell in love with every part. We stayed for tge sunset and it got to 40° we also saw flurries for first time, it was magical. Enjoy the pictures
The south rim offers amazing views of the Grand Canyon for miles in each direction. Definitely worth the $30 per vehicle park entrance fee.
No words can fully describe the beauty and awe-inspiring views of this great wonder of Nature. The rocks of the canyons are purported to be between 100 million and 2 billion years old. They say the pyramid shaped high points slowly get eroded over time to finally disappear. The more you get to know this place it makes your humbler that much. Amazing!
A lot of people and come with a tour group see the sights at the visitor center and a few of the points at bus stops. I don't recommend that. Take the time and spend at least two days here. It's an easy walk all along the south rim. There are a lot of free water points.
