Service was pretty good. The food was served very quickly. It could have been a bit more flavorful but all-in-all it was a good experience.

Went here for lunch around 2 pm, after finishing the freedom tour. Was really hungry and didn't have too many restaurants to choose from. Was looking forward to a good juicy burger. We both ordered our Burgers medium and they came out medium well, kind of dry. However, the sweet potato fries were very good. The server, Tori was awesome. Our drinks were constantly refilled. The apple pie for dessert was warm and came with whipped cream on top. That was pretty good.
I wish I could give negative stars on my experience at this restaurant. It is the one black spot on our trip to the Grand Canyon. Thankfully the other places we went the people were quite helpful and friendly. The experience at the Bright Angel Lodge restaurant was horrible. Let me just clarify that I have been a waitress and 2 others in our group had been waitresses as well so we are quite forgiving. There is no excuse for the poor service we endured for a pricey meal......that we never received. After waiting over an hour with only a pitiful excuse of 'our kitchen' is down' we left. Other people who were seated after we were had received their orders while we had nothing but drinks on our table. I am really disappointed and will make sure I let everyone I know about this experience.
This was some of the worst food I've encountered in a long time. I went safe and ordered a bacon cheeseburger, the patty was charred and was so dry I had to drink water to try and rehydrate it enough to swallow. The peach cobbler can best be described as canned peaches poured over white bread. No texture, no flavor, extremely disappointing.
