Ran around asking 3 people trying to place an order, everytime passed on to someone else.
It was almost empty when we arrived just after 6pm. Service was good, normal wait time, the cost was high. Interior decor and live music are comforting.
The unfortunate aspect of the Grand Canyon is that there are no good places to eat. I think I've figured out why....its in the middle of nowhere, so the employment competition is extremely low. Your chefs and wait staff are most likely whom ever puts an application in. To be fair, over the past few days they have all been nice, just not very good at the job. For dinner tonight, the beer was good and the white wine warm. The potato skins were great! Very few Ala carte sides and the only one I wanted was out. Unfortunately or steaks were rare not medium and the waitress didn't stop back to check on us. We flagged a bus boy down and he sent it back, but it came back rare again 5 mins later. Since out waitress still hadn't returned, it just sat at our table and we ate the sides instead. So while the food experience wasn't great, everyone was pleasant. If anyone out there wants to make tons of money and live next to the Grand Canyon, open a great Italian restaurant.
I gave 4 stars, but between 3.5 - 4 would probably be more accurate.
Overpriced. Terrible and rude service.
There are a lot of complaints reported about long wait time. I figure the longer wait time and high price could be indication of good quality food. However, out food quality was average (not bad, but nothing special either).
When you look up "over priced restaurants with not so great food" this place ought to be the picture shown. Our two couples had four different meals, not one of them was any where near the quality (or quantity) that would be in line with the price.
Took a long time to be seated but didn't appear very busy. Appeared to be inadequately staffed for a weekend evening. The menu is quite limited. Very high priced when you consider that no salad, soup, potatoes etc are included with your high priced meat selection. Of course you can add them on a la carte for a very pretty penny! Yikes! Poor service from the wait staff. We were very dissatisfied!
Do not waste your time here.
