Location was great. Hotel was clean along with the rooms. We did have an issue with our tub draining but they promptly resolved the issue while we were out exploring the Grand Canyon. One thing my wife and I were slightly disappointed with is that there was no breakfast included. We've grown the like the breakfast that is served at the regular Best Westerns. We would still come back to this one if we have future trips to the Canyon.
From what I read, the restaurants (including the fast food ones) are price gauging, so it's probably best just to fork over the $13 for breakfast. It's not really worth that, but it's comparatively better than what you would get for that price in the area.
The room was pretty decent, but maybe a bit cramped. The real problem with this place is the parking situation. If you don't get in early you can end up walking a long way (in the cold). Or you can park in the bus parking spots, which is what I did, since they weren't being used and there were so many of them.
Incredible experience with a well trained and attentive staff, in a clean and delightful environment. As hospitality consultants in the upscale vertical, we rarely experience the success of the cohesive efforts from the various team members that culminated in the experience we had in this hotel this week. With too many to single out, we would like to highlight specifically the afternoon management, front desk, bell, F&B, and housekeeping staff's energetic and competent delivery above our expectations and in their responses to our requests.
I chose to book this hotel for my boyfriend and I because it's so close to the Grand Canyon. The entrance is about a mile away, but you still have to drive about 15 minutes further to get to the south rim. I loved my stay here at Best Western. The price I paid for one night was affordable, the hotel itself is so nice, and our room was big and comfortable. I was very pleased with how clean our room was. They also provided us with the towels I had requested when I booked the room. We also had breakfast in the buffet room. It costs about $13 per person. They had a waffle maker where you can make your own waffles and they can make you an omelette! Our stay was very quiet; no noise from the outside or from other neighbors. This was a very special trip for me because my boyfriend proposed to me, and of course I said yes! ^_^ I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
One of the BEST hotels I've ever stayed at!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The amenities were FABULOUS! We enjoyed the Haunted Hotel and the bowling alley...very family friendly! The pool and hot tub were incredible, but the starry sky view from the outdoor hot tub was AMAZING!! I would stay here over and over!
