If i could give this place a 1/4 star or better yet - a minus ten star - I would. Before we checked out - 8AM, the cleaners went into our room and threw out our personal belongings. We had to dig through the trash. Worse is medicine dispenser for the day, a portion of a weeks medications, was lost. When we complained at the desk - they shrugged their shoulders and did nothing. Only good thing about this HIE is food staff. Would NOT recommend this place to anybody I like or care about. Rude at check in too boot. Fire desk staff and management. Not the cleaners fault - they were cleaning where they were told to go.
Price is accurate for what they offer. I totally recommend it.
Very good hotel. The beds and pillows are great, super comfortable! (I know someone said it already but they are REALLY good). Spacious rooms are equipped with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
Very nice, comfortable room. Quiet and close to the Grand Canyon. I wonder why no soap dish is provided and no shower cap. Water gets all over the sink. Always like a small disposable shower cap. Great breakfast provided every morning morning. No need to try and get breakfast before hiking and sightseeing.
A normal Holiday Inn Express with everything that one would expect. Great customer service, clean and comfortable room and bed, the usual selection for breakfast but... the fact that it's only a mile or so from the gate of the Grand Canyon means that it costs an additional $100-$150/night. So unfortunately, I have to go with 3 stars.
Check in was a pleasure. Fast and friendly. Our room was so nice. It was a junior suite. Two TV’s, one in the bedroom and one in the “living room”. The bathroom was large and like the rest of the hotel, it was very clean. The breakfast buffet was great. Large selection, fresh and there was no shortage of food. The dining room was large with television and daily newspaper. The thermal sauna was a joy to sit in after a day of hiking. All the staff that I encountered were very friendly. Lastly, the location and price was very good. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Grand Canyon !!
Breakfast has a nice variety and the people working there are very friendly (Imelda was great and help my mom as if she was family, she made pancakes for us).
