If you want to do Grand Canyon big you either gotta at least stay here for the night. If not I definitely recommend eating here and if you cant make reservations for dinner, go for breakfast! Everything on the menu is delicious and very affordable. My personal favorite is the Prime Rib Hash, my go-to everytime. So why not enjoy a nice stay and meal with a view? You are literally steps away from the rim. Service here is always Excellent and the staff everywhere you greets you with a smile and are always willing to help with any questions.
Good food. My new York strip was done to perfect med rare. Didn't really like the glaze under it or the thick layering of seasoning on top. A good steak only really needs salt and pepper. Bit pricey but tasty. Everything on the rim is expensive though.
I had a great family dinner at this hotel. Only waited 15 minutes for a table on a relatively busy day. The price for entrees were very reasonable compare to other hotels in and outside the park. The food and desserts were delicious. I would definitely return in the future.
We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The food was excellent, however, after having reservations for 6 months and being informed that guest got seated before visitors, we were seated right in front of the kitchen. Not ideal celebrating our anniversary, but we enjoyed our stay.
I stayed at the grand canyon for 3 days. I had the pleasure of dining at the El Tovar Hotel once for dinner and once for lunch. For dinner I was not impressed. The service was slow (took over 2 hrs from our reservation time till we received the check) and the vegan dish that I ordered was quite bland. Lunch was much better. Normal service time and food was tasty, both the Navajo tacos and pastrami sandwich. The staff were always friendly and helpful
