Nice hotel in a convenient location to the grand canyon. Rooms were nice, clean and well maintained. Breakfast for $15 a person was below average. No omelette's and the scrambled eggs were dry and burnt. Go elsewhere for breakfast.
Close to park entrance and clean but WAY overpriced. There is a microwave oven in the room which is very handy. Small bathroom and oh the literally dozens of aircraft that fly over starting at 6:00 am through 9:00 pm don't let you sleep very late. But all hotels in the town have the same issue because the airport is just a few hundred feet away. View of the highway and noise from it is nice if you are in to that kind of experience. Overall a decent place to stay if there is no availability in the park itself.
Very homey and well decorated lodge. We really enjoyed our stay there. The lobby, gift shop, and restaurant have a Wild West theme, which we really liked. We also liked the breakfast buffet (wide variety of food, well stocked, and well worth the price). The room and bathroom are both very spacious and nicely updated. The beds are very comfortable. The balcony is a nice bonus, as we had hot chocolate out there. All in all, we had a lovely stay and recommend this hotel when traveling to the South Rim.
The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The lobby is nicely decorated and has a fireplace. The room was clean and spacious with a large bathroom. They have an on-site restaurant and bar. They also have a store and jewelry shop. The indoor pool was nice and heated. It's located right outside of the Grand Canyon's Southern Rim park.
Great hotel, big rooms and the kids loved the pool. It's just a few minutes drive fromt the Grand Canyon Visitors Center and there is even a bus available to go there. (Purple line). We didn't have time to try the restaurant.
